We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Farm Animal Caretaker
Location: Ado Ekiti, Ekiti

Description
- This role ensures the well-being of farm animals through comprehensive care, including providing proper nutrition and shelter, monitoring health, maintaining clean environments, and keeping detailed records. It requires knowledge of animal behavior, health, and physical stamina for farm work.
- Provide appropriate feed and water to animals, following dietary needs and schedules.
- Monitor feed consumption and adjust rations for optimal health and growth.
- Conduct regular health checks to identify illness, injury, or distress.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by a veterinarian.
- Isolate sick or injured animals and provide necessary care for recovery.
- Ensure clean, well-ventilated, and properly maintained animal housing.
- Perform bedding replacement, manure removal, and sanitation to prevent disease.
- Monitor and regulate temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors.
- Assist with breeding programs, including selection, insemination, and pregnancy monitoring.
- Provide care for pregnant and newborn animals, including nutrition and birthing assistance.
- Safely handle and restrain animals for procedures, vaccinations, and transportation.
- Assist with loading and unloading animals for transport.
- Maintain accurate records of animal inventory, health, breeding, and daily activities.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 2 – 10 years work experience.
Benefits
- Salary: N30,000 – N50,000 monthly.
- There is provision for accommodation.
